The Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Enterprise Systems Specialist to join our Enterprise Systems and IT team. This role will be pivotal in managing and optimizing our business systems that integrate with each other. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of these systems to support our financial operations.

The Senior Enterprise Systems Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for NetSuite administration, configuration, and user support, focusing specifically on financial modules and related integrations.  They will be part of a team that manages other core enterprise systems in addition to our financial ones.  This role will be crucial in leveraging NetSuite capabilities and other SaaS applications to solve critical business challenges.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and optimize NetSuite financial modules: Serve as the primary administrator, configuring, maintaining, and enhancing NetSuite financial functionalities (General Ledger, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, etc.) to meet evolving business needs and ensure data accuracy.  Also, act as a trusted advisor to project teams, providing in-depth application expertise and ensuring smooth transitions during system upgrades and implementations, specifically for financial modules.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to NetSuite financial modules, including integrations and customizations, and provide ongoing end-user training and support.
  • Collaborate on system enhancements and integrations: Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, People, Sales) to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, and manage integrations with other enterprise data systems focusing on financial data flow.
  • Analyze and improve financial processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements within NetSuite and other related applications, streamline operations, and ensure optimal system performance and ROI.
  • Mentor and support team members: Provide guidance and support to your peers, review deliverables, and contribute to the professional development of the team.

What we're looking for: 

  • Has a current NetSuite Certified Administrator certification.
  • Experience with NetSuite financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets. Knowledge of multi-currency is a plus.
  • At least 5 years ERP experience—implementations and upgrades.
  • 3+ years NetSuite OneWorld experience.
  • Experience with other SaaS applications such as Zip (procurement orchestration), HiBob (HRIS), Abacum (financial planning & analysis) and Salesforce (CRM) is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to apply accounting knowledge to NetSuite configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical proficiency in NetSuite administration, including customizations, workflows, and saved searches, specifically for financial modules. Proficiency of SuiteApprovals and SuiteScript a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve system issues, both within the standard NetSuite functionality and with advanced troubleshooting methods.
  • Knowledge of several different functional areas of NetSuite such as Finance, Procurement, HR Management, CRM, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically to diagnose and resolve complex system-related issues.
  • Proven drive for personal and professional growth by researching and evaluating new finance technologies to ensure we're using the best tools available. A constantly-learning mindset and approach is required.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Self-motivated, able to work alone and in teams, articulate, and able to inspire confidence in audiences.
  • Process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience.
