What’s included in Aiven customer support?

We proactively monitor all services 24/7/365. Our personnel are automatically alerted to any service anomalies for immediate resolution. Additionally, your account includes email and chat support. Three additional support tiers are available for a fee. Learn more about support response times and plans.

What is the retention period for PITR?

The retention period for PITR depends on the plan type. It is 2 days for Startup, 14 for Business, and 30 for Premium. This backup history also acts as the usable range for the point in time recovery feature. You can find more information in our documentation .

What’s included in the free MySQL plan?

The free MySQL plan comes with the following specification: Single node 1 CPU 1GB RAM 5GB storage Easy management via our web console, CLI, API, Terraform provider, or Kubernetes operator Out-of-the-box monitoring (metrics and logs) Backups Community support However, some Aiven platform functionality is not available: No VPC peering, service integrations, or forking No connection pooling Only community support No 99.99% SLA Only AWS, and only 9 regions Only one service per service type per user and organization

What is the difference between the Aiven free plans and the Aiven free trial?

The free plans are limited in size but can be run indefinitely free of charge. The full platform free trial gives you $300 of credit for 30 days that you can use on any service types and plan sizes. You can run free services alongside your trial, they will not impact your trial credits and will continue to run after the trial has expired.
